What a great day in Paita, Peru
So far, 5 water purifiers assembled and tested and another 20 ready for final assemblies. 5 more will be tested before the end of the day.
Juan (Deb’s son), Karissa, and Mikala have worked like champs (after getting some much needed rest.) The water purifiers need a total of 4 holes drilled and reamed each. Assembly includes screwing filter elements together and running the first charge of water through to clear any debris. Units are tested with food coloring to assure no leakage.

Today, is a day when one can see the results of one’s labor. It reassures one’s belief in being here and doing what we are doing. It is a great day to be in Paita!
I was wondering about the spouts! One more hole to drill I guess.
ReplyDeleteCan't be easy making the holes just the right size to accommodate the filters. Good work you three! May there be many fewer intestinal illnesses in Paita Peru because you helped!
